After a hard OT loss, the Cuda are back on the home ice Saturday for a 6pm game.  On a Nikola Goldobin bobblehead giveaway night.

DeMelo is keeping his eye on his phone in case he gets called up with Vlasic’s injury Thursday.  Dell starting; Goodrow out.

Iowa played in Stockton Friday night, losing 5-1.

Barracuda dominated the first period (2-0).  Wild answered back in 2nd (2-2).  Nothing settled in 3rd.  On PPG in OT, Morin scored the GWG.  Dell made some excellent saves.

With the win, the Barracuda get back into a playoff position.

After their Friday night win, the guys got on the bus for a four hour ride to Des Moines.  They’ll have a chance to sleep in and report to the arena this afternoon to face the Iowa Wild.

As Grosenick started yesterday, it’s likely that Dell will start today.

Sommer needs one win to tie the AHL all time coaching win record.

Dell kept a shutout going until the third, but the game headed to OT and the Barracuda lost to the Wild 1-2.  But their point streak continued.  Sommer is one win from tying AHL record for wins.
