Barracuda had a 2-0 lead after one.  But San Antonio scored three straight.  Cuda tied it up in regulation (getting a point), but lost in OT.

Barracuda managed to get three past Budaj (only one from a hard angle), chasing him from the net in the second.  They didn’t need to get any past Howser, and Dell stood strong, making 35 saves.  3-1 win.

Cuda now head out for 6-game road trip before final RS game at home on April 17.  They are back in a playoff position, but need to keep winning to keep it.

Barracuda vs Gulls 160326

Jon Martin, signed by the Sharks, has joined the Barracuda (ATO). Michael Brodinski should be signing with the Sharks (and signing an ATO to play with the Barracuda for the rest of the season; could debut against brother playing for Ontario).  UPDATE:  both players are with the Barracuda and scheduled make their pro debuts against the Gulls.  Haley has been recalled by the Sharks.

Barracuda vs Iowa 160319

After a hard OT loss, the Cuda are back on the home ice Saturday for a 6pm game.  On a Nikola Goldobin bobblehead giveaway night.

DeMelo is keeping his eye on his phone in case he gets called up with Vlasic’s injury Thursday.  Dell starting; Goodrow out.

Iowa played in Stockton Friday night, losing 5-1.

Barracuda dominated the first period (2-0).  Wild answered back in 2nd (2-2).  Nothing settled in 3rd.  On PPG in OT, Morin scored the GWG.  Dell made some excellent saves.

With the win, the Barracuda get back into a playoff position.
