Torres played neither game last weekend, and this past week has been pondering his future. Cundari, Gallant were out injured last week. Cundari returned to the ice (in red no-contact jersey) on Tuesday; scrimmaged Wednesday. Lerg and Haley took maintenance days this past week. On Friday, the practice was focused on special teams.
Mueller was called up as insurance when Dillon was injured; he was sent down for one game (last Sunday) and recalled before the Sharks headed out on their five-game cross-country road trip. Wingels was injured Thursday in NHL and will be out a couple of games, so the Barracuda are expecting a recall soon. Update: Mueller assigned to Barracuda on Saturday.
The Barracuda hit the road for the rest of the month. First up: a pair of games in Stockton on Saturday and Sunday.
Stockton has signed former Worcester Shark Mike Vernance and Gabriel Verpaelst to PTOs (to fill out roster). And they’re looking to continue their home winning streak.
